St. John’s serves the church, community, and world in the following ways:
- Wednesday Church School is offered to children ages Pre-K through 4th grade 6 pm to 7 pm every Wednesday from Rally Wednesday in September to the last week of April. We offer a light meal to all students and teachers beginning at 5:15 pm.
- Confirmation Classes take place on Wednesday evenings during the same time as Wednesday Church School (WCS). Grades 5 through 8 are instructed in Luther’s Catechism and the Word of God in the NRSV translation.
- Adult Bible Study is offered every Wednesday morning at 9:30 am and also on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 6:15pm.
- First Communion Classes are offered once a year during the spring. Any child may take these classes when parents deem them mature enough to do so.
- Our Quilting Group is active and meets on the third Monday of each month at 9:00 am Our Quilting Group makes warm and beautiful quilts and donates them to people in need in our community as well as charitable organizations throughout northeast Nebraska. Some quilts are donated beyond our local community through the Nebraska Synod Quilt Auction held annually at Camp Carol Joy Holling in Ashland, NE.
- The Randolph Community Food Pantry is located at St. John’s and is staffed by volunteers from each of our three churches in Randolph. The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 5-7:00 pm or by appointment. This pantry follows USDA requirements.
- Luther League is our youth group and all youth in grades seven through twelve are invited and encouraged to participate. Luther League meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm.
